Swimming Rocks Training Academy

We are so very pleased to announce that Swimming Rocks is now an accredited provider of Aquatic courses and Continuous Professional Development seminars.

Danai Rialas, who many of you know as Area Manager for Knightsbridge and Golders Green venues, has been toking hard to become a qualified trainer and assessor and we are now ready to launch a series of courses in conjunction with the Swim Teachers Association.

The STA Safety Training Awards is the awarding organisation of The Swimming Teachers’ Association, regulated by Ofqual and Qualifications Wales, and accredited by SQA Accreditation in Scotland.

Swimming Rocks Training Academy will offer vocational training courses to those who would like to gain their qualification to become a swimming teacher and ongoing seminars to support and develop the knowledge of existing teachers.

Our CPD seminars will cover everything from water safety to baby swimming, autism to teaching those who have additional needs as well as covering the main topics such as drills and exercises when introducing swimming strokes.

Whilst all Swimming Rocks Instructors can attend these courses free of charge, we will also be offering external candidates the opportunity to book and attend all courses and seminars and will be launching a dedicated website for our Training Academy later this month.
